CPL Kloberdanz added this note with his order:
"What most people don't know about the US Forces in Korea is that we have Korean Soldiers that are conscripted into the US Army to serve alongside their counterparts. They are called KATUSA's (Korean Augment To the United States Army). Even though they serve in the US Army they fall under the command of both the US and Korean Army. The Republic of Korea (ROK) Army is responsible for the pay and clothing of all KATUSA's, a mere $70 a month and about half of the clothing that is considered mandatory for US soldiers. That is why I am nominating my unit the 154th Medical Detachment for the Sock for Soldiers program. It might not be Iraq or Afghanistan but in Korea we "train to fight tonight" because at a moment's notice we could be engaged with North Korea again.
